The 6x6 SUV has 2.5L CiDi 4 cylinder diesel engine producing 105 BHP along with multi axle. The tyre used in this SUV is provided by Yokohoma company by the name of Geolander. The cost of each tyre in INR is Rs 22000 as these tyres comes with high durability , retaining more stress and for better performance for raised ground clearance and six-wheel drive. Thar comes with metal bumper with its classic vintage rounded headlamps along with fog lamps. It comes with 5-speed manual gearbox For driving this vehicle we need heavy motor license as the SUV is now modified to Heavy Motor Vehicle. Most probably the vehicle which is to be modified to 6x6 vehicle is Mahindra Thar but Mercedes has already introduced Its 4x4 AMG G-WAGON as Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 which costs around 3.8 crores.
But the Mahindra Thar to be modified by Xenex Studio would cost you around 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs. The 6x6 Mahindra Thar is not itself modified by its parent company (Mahindra Motors) so there are a few car customisation studios to meet the need of the wagon lovers.
